Problem
How can you verify if a partner interconnect attachment is L3, L2, and find out the Project ID to troubleshoot further?
Environment
Solution
- From GUI/Pentheon, for a L3 partner interconnect, you will not see any Cloud Router associated in your VLAN attachments.
- From Metastore, Search the body of the resource for partner_asn. If the field does not exist, the attachment is not L3, but L2.
Find the actual project which has the Partner Interconnect link (For L3 Partner interconnect):
- Find the INTERCONNECT_ATTACHMENT resource in Metastore Inspector.
- Open the correct interconnect from the list.
- On this page, go to related queries > click on Incoming Links - same scope.
- You will find the project ID in the Resource key.
