Configure o serviço gRPC sem proxy

Este guia descreve dois métodos para configurar um serviço gRPC sem proxy na sua malha de serviços:

Método 1: configuração manual

Este método requer que configure manualmente os componentes necessários para o seu serviço gRPC sem proxy.

  • InitContainer: use um initContainer na especificação do seu pod para executar o gerador de arranque gRPC do Cloud Service Mesh. Este gerador produz a configuração necessária para o seu serviço.
  • Volume Mount: monte um volume que contenha a configuração gerada do initContainer. Isto garante que a sua aplicação pode aceder às definições necessárias.
  • Variáveis de ambiente: inclua as variáveis de ambiente adequadas para ativar a emissão de métricas de observabilidade do CSM a partir da sua aplicação. Estas métricas fornecem estatísticas valiosas sobre o desempenho do seu serviço.

Método 2: automático através do Proxyless Bootstrap Injector

Em vez de configurar manualmente o seu serviço gRPC sem proxy, pode optar por uma abordagem simplificada através do injetor de arranque sem proxy.

Esta funcionalidade automatiza o processo de configuração, o que facilita a implementação do seu serviço. Para a ativar, adicione a etiqueta mesh.cloud.google.com/csm-injection=proxyless ao seu espaço de nomes.

Ao adicionar esta etiqueta ao seu espaço de nomes, o injetor cuida de todas as configurações necessárias, o que lhe poupa tempo e esforço valiosos.

Se precisar de um controlo mais detalhado, também pode aplicar esta etiqueta diretamente a podcasts individuais. Isto permite-lhe substituir a definição ao nível do espaço de nomes e personalizar o comportamento de injeção por pod.

    Tenha em atenção que o serviço parentRef também é helloworld, o que significa que a nossa HTTPRoute está associada a este serviço e processará todas as RPCs dirigidas a este serviço. Configure o cliente gRPC sem proxy

Estas secções descrevem como usar um cliente gRPC para verificar se o Cloud Service Mesh está a encaminhar o tráfego corretamente na malha.

Tal como na configuração do serviço, tem duas opções para configurar o cliente:

Método 1: configuração manual

Esta abordagem envolve a configuração manual dos componentes necessários para o seu cliente, o que reflete a configuração manual do serviço.

Método 2: automático através do Proxyless Bootstrap Injector

As métricas não são exportadas / apresentadas

Certifique-se de que todos os ficheiros binários envolvidos (cliente e servidor) estão configurados com a observabilidade.

Se estiver a usar o exportador do Prometheus, verifique se o URL do exportador do Prometheus está configurado conforme esperado.

Certifique-se de que os canais gRPC estão ativados no Cloud Service Mesh. Os canais devem ter um destino no formato xds:///. Os servidores gRPC estão sempre ativados para a Cloud Service Mesh.

Nenhuma métrica exportada / Um valor de atributo numa métrica é apresentado como desconhecido

A observabilidade do Cloud Service Mesh determina as informações topológicas da malha através de etiquetas de ambiente. Certifique-se de que a especificação do agrupamento ou do serviço para o cliente e o serviço especifica todas as etiquetas conforme descrito no exemplo.
