Upgrading Cloud Service Mesh across more than one minor version (that is, 1.4.x to 1.8.x) in one step is not officially tested or supported. This page provides links to the "Upgrading on-premises" guide for each Cloud Service Mesh version.

Note: Cloud Service Mesh 1.10 introduced networking changes that are different than 1.9 and earlier. After you upgrade to Cloud Service Mesh 1.10 or later, review Am I Impacted? to verify if you are impacted and for mitigation steps.
