알림 정책은 즉각적인 주의나 개입이 필요한 상황을 식별합니다.
측정항목이 알림 정책 조건을 충족하면 Cloud Monitoring이 알림을 전송합니다. 예를 들어 backlog_quota_bytes가 Pub/Sub 라이트 할당량을 초과하려고 하면 Cloud Monitoring에서 알림을 보낼 수 있습니다.

You can create alerting policies and\ncharts of metrics using Cloud Monitoring.\n\nMetrics and monitored resources\n-------------------------------\n\n\nA metric is a set of measurements about the behavior of a product, service, or application.\nFor example, Pub/Sub Lite reports data for the `backlog_quota_bytes`\nmetric.\n\n\nFor the complete list of Pub/Sub Lite metric types, see the list of\n[Pub/Sub Lite metrics](/monitoring/api/metrics_gcp_p_z#gcp-pubsublite).\n\n\nPub/Sub Lite collects metrics from monitored resources, including the following:\n\n- [`pubsublite_subscription_partition`](/monitoring/api/resources#tag_pubsublite_subscription_partition)\n- [`pubsublite_topic_partition`](/monitoring/api/resources#tag_pubsublite_topic_partition)\n- [`pubsublite_reservation`](/monitoring/api/resources#tag_pubsublite_reservation)\n\nExploring metrics\n-----------------\n\n\nTo explore the metrics that Pub/Sub Lite reports to Cloud Monitoring,\ncreate a chart with the Metrics Explorer.\n\n1.\n In the Google Cloud console, go to the **Metrics Explorer**:\n\n [Go to the Metrics Explorer](https://console.cloud.google.com/monitoring/metrics-explorer)\n2.\n In the **Find resource type and metric pane** , search for and select\n **`pubsublite_subscription_partition`**.\n\n | **Note**: Cloud Monitoring accumulates metric data over time. If your Google Cloud project is new, Cloud Monitoring might not have metric data yet, and the chart reports that no data is available.\n3. From the list of metrics, select **`backlog_quota_bytes`**.\n\n\nThe Metrics Explorer creates temporary charts. To save a chart, add it to a dashboard.\n\nCreating alerting policies\n--------------------------\n\n\nAn altering policy identifies a situation that warrants immediate attention or intervention.\nIf metrics meet the conditions of an alerting policy, Cloud Monitoring sends you a\nnotification.
