About StratoZone assessment

StratoZone provides you with the functionalities you need to perform an in-depth assessment of your infrastructure. After you import your data in Migration Center, enable the integration with StratoZone to perform an advanced assessment using tools such as grouping, rightsizing, and reporting.

This page explains how to opt in to StratoZone and how to enable data transfer from Migration Center to StratoZone.

Enable StratoZone integration

Before you can use StratoZone, you need to enable the integration with Migration Center. With this integration in place, Migration Center automatically transfers your infrastructure data to StratoZone to let you perform your assessment.

  1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the Reports catalog page.

    Go to Reports catalog

  2. Click Go to StratoZone.

  3. The first time you access StratoZone, consent to transfer your data from Migration Center to StratoZone, and agree to the terms and conditions.

The integration between Migration Center and StratoZone is now active and you are added as an administrator and can add other users to the account in StratoZone. You will receive a message in StratoZone confirming that your Google Cloud project has been successfully onboarded to StratoZone. You might need to wait up to a day to see your infrastructure data appear in StratoZone.

StratoZone can automatically mark selected assets as out of scope based on the operating system. Therefore, the number of assets that you see in Migration Center and StratoZone might be different.
