将数据源与 Dataplex Catalog 集成

本文档介绍了如何将数据源与 Dataplex Catalog 集成。Dataplex 可以从 Google Cloud 数据源导入和维护最新的 Dataplex 目录元数据。

提取元数据后，Dataplex 将执行以下操作：

• 使现有元数据可通过搜索发现。如需了解详情，请参阅在 Dataplex Catalog 中搜索数据资产。
• 允许组织成员使用切面来使用其他业务元数据来丰富数据。如需了解详情，请参阅管理方面和丰富元数据。

准备工作

1. Sign in to your Google Cloud account. If you're new to Google Cloud, create an account to evaluate how our products perform in real-world scenarios. New customers also get $300 in free credits to run, test, and deploy workloads.

2. In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

   Note: If you don't plan to keep the resources that you create in this procedure, create a project instead of selecting an existing project. After you finish these steps, you can delete the project, removing all resources associated with the project.

3. Make sure that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

4. Enable the Dataplex API.

5. In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

   Note: If you don't plan to keep the resources that you create in this procedure, create a project instead of selecting an existing project. After you finish these steps, you can delete the project, removing all resources associated with the project.

6. Make sure that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

7. Enable the Dataplex API.

集成 Cloud SQL

在 Cloud SQL 实例上启用 Dataplex Catalog 集成后，Dataplex Catalog 会自动从 Cloud SQL 资源（包括实例、数据库、表、列和视图）检索元数据。

Dataplex Catalog 只会从 Cloud SQL 主实例中检索元数据，而不会从读取副本中检索元数据。
