In Verbindungsprofilen werden IDs für Ihre Datenquellen und Zieldatenbanken erfasst. Jedes Verbindungsprofil enthält die Mindestanzahl an Informationen, die der Database Migration Service benötigt, um die Datenübertragung zwischen der Datenquelle und dem Ziel zu ermöglichen.
Zu diesen Informationen gehören:
Name des Verbindungsprofils: Ein von Menschen lesbarer Name für das Verbindungsprofil. Dieser Wert wird in der Google Cloud Console in Database Migration Service angezeigt.
Verbindungsprofil-ID: Eine maschinenlesbare Kennung für Ihr Verbindungsprofil. Dieser Wert wird verwendet, wenn Sie mit Verbindungsprofilen arbeiten und dabei die Google Cloud CLI-Befehle oder die API des Database Migration Service verwenden.
Region: Die Region, in der Ihr Verbindungsprofil gespeichert ist.
Der Database Migration Service ist ein vollständig regionales Produkt. Das bedeutet, dass alle mit der Migration verbundenen Entitäten (Quell- und Zielverbindungsprofile, Migrationsjobs, Zieldatenbanken) in einer einzigen Region gespeichert werden müssen.

Für Quellverbindungsprofile: Speicherort der Sicherungsdateien: Der Cloud Storage-Bucket, in den Sie die SQL Server-Sicherungs- und Transaktionsprotokolldateien hochladen, die der Database Migration Service in Ihre Zieldatenbank überträgt.
Für Zielverbindungsprofile:
Zielinstanzen-ID: Die Kennung Ihrer Cloud SQL for SQL Server-Zielinstanz, in die der Database Migration Service die Daten aus den im Cloud Storage-Bucket gespeicherten Sicherungsdateien überträgt.
