Questa pagina spiega come mantenere il database Airflow nel tuo ambiente.

Con il passare del tempo, il database Airflow del tuo ambiente archivia sempre più dati. Questi dati includono informazioni e log relativi alle esecuzioni precedenti dei DAG, e altre operazioni Airflow.

Prima di iniziare

  • Se la dimensione del database Airflow è superiore a 16 GB, non puoi eseguire l'upgrade dell'ambiente a una versione successiva.

  • Se la dimensione del database Airflow è superiore a 20 GB, non è possibile creare snapshot.

  • Se utilizzi il meccanismo XCom per trasferire i file, assicurati di lo usi in base alle linee guida di Airflow. Il trasferimento di file di grandi dimensioni o di grandi quantità di file grazie agli effetti di XCom le prestazioni del database Airflow e può portare a errori durante il caricamento snapshot o l'upgrade dell'ambiente. Valuta l'uso di alternative come come Cloud Storage, per trasferire grandi volumi di dati.

Esegui il DAG di manutenzione del database in base a una pianificazione

Puoi usare il seguente DAG di manutenzione per eliminare il contenuto del tuo per configurare un database.

Assicurati di eseguire periodicamente il DAG di manutenzione per mantenere le dimensioni del database inferiori a 16 GB. Consigliamo di eseguire questo DAG ogni giorno per la maggior parte degli ambienti. Se osserva che la metrica relativa alle dimensioni del database aumenta significativamente tra le esecuzioni, valuta la possibilità di eseguire questo DAG più spesso.

Scegli un periodo di conservazione (DEFAULT_MAX_DB_ENTRY_AGE_IN_DAYS) che consenta mantenendo il database al di sotto di 16 GB. Per la maggior parte degli ambienti, consigliamo un periodo di 30 giorni come punto di partenza.

Questo DAG rimuove le voci precedenti da job, dag_run, task_instance, log, xcom, sla_miss, dags, task_reschedule, Tabelle task_fail e import_error per impostazione predefinita. Nel DAG, esamina l'elenco delle tabelle e decidi se le voci precedenti devono essere rimosse. ## Usage

1. Update the global variables (SCHEDULE_INTERVAL, DAG_OWNER_NAME,
  ALERT_EMAIL_ADDRESSES and ENABLE_DELETE) in the DAG with the desired values

2. Modify the DATABASE_OBJECTS list to add/remove objects as needed. Each
   dictionary in the list features the following parameters:

    - age_check_column: Column in the model/table to use for calculating max
      date of data deletion
    - keep_last: Boolean to specify whether to preserve last run instance

          during clean-up, such as DAG runs where the external trigger is set
          to 0.
        - keep_last_group_by: Option to specify column by which to group the
          database entries and perform aggregate functions.
