Python 2 is no longer supported by the community. We recommend that you migrate Python 2 apps to Python 3.

Python 2.5

Support for Python 2.5 has been removed from App Engine. You must migrate to Python 2.7.

Deprecation and decommissioning history

The deprecation of Python 2.5 support was announced on March 8, 2013 and support was permanently shut down on June 20, 2017.
