Une instance Parallelstore est un serveur de stockage de fichiers hébergé conçu pour permettre un nombre d'IOPS extrêmement élevé et une latence très faible, en tirant parti d'un accès direct et parallèle aux supports de stockage.
Lorsque vous créez une instance Parallelstore, vous devez définir les propriétés suivantes :
Nom de l'instance.
Capacité de stockage. La capacité peut varier de 12 Tio (tébioctets) à 100 Tio, par multiples de 4. Par exemple, 16 Tio, 20 Tio, 24 Tio.
L'établissement. Pour optimiser les performances, placez votre instance dans la même zone que vos VM ou clusters clients.
Paramètres de striping des fichiers et des répertoires. Pour en savoir plus sur chacun de ces paramètres, consultez Considérations relatives aux performances. Consultez le guide de dépannage pour résoudre les problèmes liés à l'utilisation de la capacité des instances.
Réseau VPC pour cette instance. Il doit s'agir du même réseau que celui utilisé pour vos VM clientes ou vos clusters Google Kubernetes Engine.
Autorisations requises
Pour créer une instance Parallelstore, vous devez disposer des autorisations IAM d'administrateur Parallelstore (roles/parallelstore.admin) pour votre projet.
Pour maximiser les performances de votre instance Parallelstore :
Créez votre instance dans la même zone Google Cloud que les VM Compute Engine ou les clusters Google Kubernetes Engine auxquels vous vous connecterez.

Créer une instance
Vous pouvez créer une instance Parallelstore à partir des interfaces suivantes.

Cliquez sur Créer. La page Créer une instance s'affiche.
Saisissez un nom d'instance unique et, éventuellement, une description.
Sélectionnez une région et une zone dans lesquelles créer cette instance. Vous devez placer votre instance dans la même région et la même zone que les VM Compute Engine ou les clusters Google Kubernetes Engine qui s'y connecteront.
Sélectionnez la capacité de stockage de votre instance.
Lorsque l'opération se termine correctement, le résultat est semblable à la réponse suivante. Notez la liste des points d'accès dans la ressource d'instance. Vous en aurez besoin pour la configuration du client.

Go to the **Parallelstore** page in the Google Cloud console.\n\n [Go to Parallelstore](https://console.cloud.google.com/parallelstore/)\n2. Click **Create** . The **Create an instance** page is displayed.\n\n3. Enter a unique **Instance name** and, optionally, a description.\n\n4. Select a region and zone in which to create this instance. You should place\n your instance in the same region and zone as the Compute Engine VMs or\n Google Kubernetes Engine clusters that will connect to it.\n\n5. Select the storage capacity of your instance.\n\n6. Select the **Network** that you created in [Create a VPC network](/parallelstore/docs/vpc).\n\n7. Choose whether to use an automatically allocated IP range, or to specify\n a custom IP range.\n\nThe **Summary** section of the page updates to show cost and performance\nestimates based on your selections.\n\nClick **Create** to continue.
