Method: projects.locations.instances.applySoftwareUpdate

Updates software on the selected nodes of the Instance.

POST https://memcache.googleapis.com/v1beta2/{instance=projects/*/locations/*/instances/*}:applySoftwareUpdate

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
instance

string

Required. Resource name of the Memcached instance for which software update should be applied.

Request body

The request body contains data with the following structure:

nodeIds[]

Nodes to which we should apply the update to. Note all the selected nodes are updated in parallel.
applyAll

boolean

Whether to apply the update to all nodes. If set to true, will explicitly restrict users from specifying any nodes, and apply software update to all nodes (where applicable) within the instance.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
