Nginx-Beispielkonfiguration

Nginx ist ein beliebter Web- und Reverse-Proxyserver.

Er kann als Schicht zwischen Looker und Endnutzern verwendet werden, um den Port zu ändern, den Webbrowser für den Zugriff auf Looker verwenden. Standardmäßig müssen Nutzer eine URL wie https://hostname.domain.com:9999 verwenden. Mit einer Nginx-Konfiguration, die der auf dieser Seite ähnelt, können Nutzer ohne Portnummer auf Looker zugreifen, z. B. https://hostname.domain.com. Das ist für Nutzer einfacher zu tippen und zu merken und im Allgemeinen praktischer.

Ein nginx.conf-Beispiel ist hier enthalten. Sie muss an Ihre Umgebung angepasst werden.
