Las flotas requieren que se instale Cloud Service Mesh en tu clúster.
Antes de poder instalar el componente de flota de Knative serving, primero debes migrar la instalación de Istio a Cloud Service Mesh.
De forma predeterminada, la versión anterior de Knative serving, también conocida como “complemento de GKE”, incluye e instala una versión empaquetada de Istio. También existía la opción de instalar una versión alternativa de Istio, que se denominaba Istio on GKE y que se conoce como “complemento de Istio”.
Según la versión de Istio que hayas instalado y configurado para usar con Knative serving, debes seguir la guía correspondiente a fin de migrar a Cloud Service Mesh:
Versión del paquete de Istio: La versión del paquete de Istio se desinstala cuando realizas el proceso de desinstalación del “complemento de GKE” de Knative serving. Ahora puedes continuar con la instalación y configuración de Cloud Service Mesh.
