Google Cloud Administrator harus menyelesaikan langkah-langkah ini untuk mengaktifkan alat bagi
developer di IDE mereka.
Developer Connect digunakan untuk membuat koneksi antara akun pengguna dan layanan alat Gemini Code Assist.
Peran yang diperlukan
Untuk mendapatkan izin yang diperlukan untuk mengaktifkan alat Gemini Code Assist, minta administrator Anda untuk memberi Anda peran IAM Gemini Code Assist Tools Admin (roles/cloudaicompanion.codeToolsAdmin) di project Google Cloud .

Cari alat yang ingin Anda aktifkan, lalu klik Aktifkan. Halaman detail alat akan terbuka.
Di bagian Configuration, pilih region untuk membuat konektor akun Developer Connect di alat tersebut. Region yang tersedia tercantum di Lokasi Developer Connect.
Klik Enable.
Alat ini diaktifkan.
Anda akan diminta untuk terhubung ke akun Anda guna menggunakan alat di IDE. Jika Anda ingin menggunakan alat di IDE, klik Hubungkan dan
ikuti petunjuk untuk menghubungkan akun Anda. Anda dapat melewati langkah
koneksi jika tidak ingin menggunakan alat ini.
Alat ini tersedia bagi developer di IDE mereka. Pengguna dapat melakukan autentikasi ke alat Gemini Code Assist yang diaktifkan dengan meminta alat di chat Gemini Code Assist dengan @TOOL_NAME. Dengan

Locate the tool you want to enable and then click **Enable**. The tool\n details page opens.\n\n3. In the **Configuration** section, select a region to create your\n Developer Connect account connector in for the tool. The available\n regions are listed in\n [Developer Connect locations](/developer-connect/docs/locations).\n\n4. Click **Enable**.\n\n The tool is enabled.\n\n You are prompted to connect to your account to use the tool in the\n IDE. If you want to use the tool in the IDE, then click **Connect** and\n follow the instructions to connect your account. You can skip the connection\n step if you don't want to use the tool.\n5. Grant your developers the\n [Gemini Code Assist Tools User](https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/roles-permissions/cloudaicompanion#cloudaicompanion.codeToolsUser) (`roles/cloudaicompanion.codeToolsUser`) role on the Google Cloud\n project.\n\n The tool is available to developers in their IDEs. Users can authenticate to\n enabled Gemini Code Assist tools by prompting the tool in the\n Gemini Code Assist chat with `@`\u003cvar translate=\"no\"\u003eTOOL_NAME\u003c/var\u003e.
