Algunas herramientas tienen dependencias que debes instalar o habilitar antes de usarlas. Estos son algunos ejemplos de dependencias que podrían ser necesarias:
Es posible que debas instalar una extensión en tu IDE.
Es posible que debas habilitar un producto o servicio en tu Google Cloud proyecto.
Es posible que se deba crear una cuenta o un proyecto para un servicio.
Se te pedirá que realices las acciones necesarias la primera vez que le solicites algo a una herramienta en el chat de Gemini Code Assist.
Configura una herramienta para usarla en el IDE
En tu IDE, navega al chat de Gemini Code Assist y solicita la herramienta que quieras usar con el símbolo @ seguido del nombre de la herramienta.
Por ejemplo, la siguiente instrucción se envía a la herramienta de Documentos de Google:

Se te pedirá que conectes la herramienta.
Haz clic en el vínculo para conectar la herramienta. Se abrirá la página Agentes y herramientas de Gemini Code Assist.
Busca la herramienta que deseas usar y, luego, haz clic en Conectar tu cuenta. Se abrirá la página de detalles de la herramienta.
En la página de detalles de la herramienta, haz clic en Conectar y, luego, sigue las instrucciones para autenticarte en el servicio de la herramienta y conectar tu cuenta.

Cómo quitar la autorización de una herramienta
Para quitar la autorización de una herramienta en tu IDE, completa los siguientes pasos:
Busca el conector de la cuenta para el servicio de la herramienta que deseas quitar y, luego, haz clic en su nombre. Se abrirá la página de detalles del conector.
En la fila que contiene tu cuenta, haz clic en more_vertMás opciones.
Haz clic en Borrar.
Se quitará tu cuenta del conector de cuentas. La herramienta ya no está autorizada para acceder a su servicio desde tu IDE.
