Paginar dados com cursores de consulta

Com os cursores de consulta no Firestore, pode dividir os dados devolvidos por uma consulta em lotes de acordo com os parâmetros que define na consulta.

Os cursores de consulta definem os pontos de início e de fim de uma consulta, o que lhe permite:

  • Devolver um subconjunto dos dados.
  • Paginar os resultados da consulta.

No entanto, para definir um intervalo específico para uma consulta, deve usar o where() método descrito em Consultas simples.

Adicione um cursor simples a uma consulta

Use os métodos startAt() ou startAfter() para definir o ponto de partida de uma consulta. O método startAt() inclui o ponto de partida, enquanto o método startAfter() o exclui.

Por exemplo, se usar startAt(A) numa consulta, devolve o alfabeto completo. Se usar startAfter(A), é devolvido B-Z.

Use uma captura instantânea do documento para definir o cursor da consulta

Também pode transmitir uma imagem instantânea do documento à cláusula do cursor como ponto de partida ou de fim do cursor de consulta. Os valores na captura instantânea do documento servem como os valores no cursor da consulta.

Por exemplo, tire um instantâneo de um documento "São Francisco" no seu conjunto de dados de cidades e populações. Em seguida, use esse instantâneo do documento como ponto de partida para o cursor da consulta de preenchimento. A sua consulta devolve todas as cidades com uma população igual ou superior à de São Francisco, conforme definido na captura de ecrã do documento.

Paginar uma consulta

Defina o cursor com base em vários campos

Quando usa um cursor com base num valor de campo (não num DocumentSnapshot), pode tornar a posição do cursor mais precisa adicionando campos adicionais. Isto é particularmente útil se o seu conjunto de dados incluir vários documentos que tenham todos o mesmo valor para o campo do cursor, o que torna a posição do cursor ambígua. Pode adicionar valores de campos adicionais ao cursor para especificar ainda mais o ponto de início ou fim e reduzir a ambiguidade.

Por exemplo, num conjunto de dados que contenha todas as cidades com o nome "Springfield" nos Estados Unidos, haveria vários pontos de partida para uma consulta definida para começar em "Springfield":
