Creates a new Data Fusion instance in the specified project and location.

HTTP request

POST https://datafusion.googleapis.com/v1/{parent=projects/*/locations/*}/instances

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent	string Required. The instance's project and location in the format projects/{project}/locations/{location}.

Query parameters

Parameters
instanceId	string Required. The name of the instance to create. Instance name can only contain lowercase alphanumeric characters and hyphens. It must start with a letter and must not end with a hyphen. It can have a maximum of 30 characters.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Instance.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.

Authorization scopes

Requires the following OAuth scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
