In 2018 we announced the Accenture Google Cloud Business Group (AGBG)—a joint collaboration with Accenture to help enterprises modernize and take advantage of the cloud.

Today, we’re extending the scope of AGBG to bring solutions to enterprises in two key new areas—contact center modernization and hybrid cloud transformation across Fortune 2000 clients in the financial services, insurance, energy, utilities, travel, retail, communications, media and technology industries.

Improving enterprise contact centers with AI

We are collaborating with Accenture to develop new contact center solutions built on Google Cloud’s Contact Center AI.

Contact centers are an important way enterprises meet their customers’ needs—and it’s important that the customer experience be as positive, helpful and timely as possible. By teaming with Accenture, we can apply Google’s AI and ML capabilities to modernize contact centers and help improve customers’ experiences in a few ways:

  • Enabling multi-channel customer interactions and improving self-service issue resolution capabilities, which can result in higher quality and more cost-efficient customer care.

  • Powering new data management solutions that help businesses get a 360° degree view of their customers, helping them develop new ways to grow and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Creating services for hyper-personalization to help business turn marketing, sales and services data into actionable, relevant information.

Empowering hybrid and multi-cloud deployments

We’re also working with Accenture to bring the newly announced Anthos to more enterprises, helping them adopt a hybrid and multi-cloud strategy.

Anthos lets businesses run applications both on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and in their data centers with GKE On-Prem —without locking customers into expensive or proprietary infrastructure. In addition, Anthos will let you manage all Kubernetes workloads running on third-party clouds, giving you the freedom to deploy, run and manage your applications on the cloud of your choice.

“We’re committed to teaming with Google Cloud to bring  cloud solutions to some of the world’s largest, most impactful businesses,” said Gene Reznik, chief strategy officer, Accenture. “These enterprises are on the edge of a revolution of digital transformation, and we’re excited to be working together to help them drive real business tangible results  as they modernize their businesses.”

Through the Accenture Google Cloud Business Group we’re working with leaders in business transformation to apply Google technologies in ways that help generate real business value for our customers.
