When I speak to enterprises, many share with me their desire to grow an internal culture of collaboration that accelerates business transformation. No matter what industry they’re in, from traditional enterprises to digital natives, working together—better, faster, and from anywhere—is a top priority.

Iron Mountain is an example of a company doing exactly this. We've worked with Iron Mountain extensively over the years, including launching jointly developed solutions like Iron Mountain InSight, which customers can use to digitize documents in the cloud, analyze them and apply machine learning for previously untapped business insights.

Today, we're thrilled that Iron Mountain is taking the next step in its digital transformation journey by adopting G Suite. They’ll be rolling out Google Cloud’s productivity and collaboration solutions—including Gmail, Google Docs, and Drive—to 26,000 employees across its more than 1,450 facilities in 50 countries.

Iron Mountain saw great potential in G Suite’s powerful mobile experience to offer an environment for engagement and knowledge sharing across Iron Mountain’s workforce, both in its global offices and out in the field. With G Suite, Iron Mountain will continue on its multi-year transformational journey to bring the best technology to its employees and customers, making it easier for them to work together and enable faster and more effective decision-making.

“Enabling digital transformation for our customers and our own company is a core tenet of our technology strategy,” says Kimberly Anstett, senior vice president and chief information officer, Iron Mountain Incorporated. “We are extending the power of Google Cloud as a platform of change and transformation for the entire company with G Suite. We have a global business that we’ve scaled to meet the needs of our customers and drive continued growth. Our employees need to collaborate to drive that growth and the best possible customer experience around the world, and with G Suite, we’re bringing together every associate and business function in all parts of the world with a single initiative.”

Iron Mountain is a trusted partner to more than 225,000 organizations and 95 percent of the FORTUNE 1000, offering solutions that include information management, digital transformation, secure storage, secure destruction, as well as data centers and cloud services. Since its founding in 1951, Iron Mountain has been a global leader for storage and information management services, helping  customers lower cost and risk, comply with regulations, recover from disaster, and enable a more digital way of working.

Iron Mountain’s focus on digital transformation is as much about accessing technology solutions within its business as it is putting technology in the hands of its customers Transforming its own culture creates higher levels of customer intimacy and responsiveness, as well as opportunities for collaboration to capitalize on innovation. With Google Cloud, employees at Iron Mountain will be able to work together more efficiently and have more meaningful interactions, enabling them to be more agile, responsive and in tune with their clients’ needs.
