Google Cloud Vision API available to all

Things are heating up in big data analytics and machine learning over here at Google Cloud! This week we announced the beta release of our Google Cloud Vision API. Now any developer can use Vision API to identify everyday objects like cars and animals; to detect text, product logos, popular landmarks, or inappropriate content.

Advances in machine learning, enabled by frameworks like TensorFlow, let data scientists build sophisticated computer vision models. Google Cloud Vision API, powered by the same technologies under Google SafeSearch, and Google Photos, encapsulates powerful machine learning models as easy to use REST APIs.
