Google Distributed Cloud Edge
Bring Google Cloud infrastructure and services closer to where your data is generated and consumed. Google Distributed Cloud Edge empowers you to run 5G Core and radio access network (RAN) functions at the edge, alongside enterprise applications, to support mission-critical use cases such as computer vision and Google AI edge inferencing.
-
Edge Appliance
Distributed Cloud Edge Appliance helps you simplify data collection, analytics, and processing at far edge locations. Your data is stored on the appliance, where containerized applications process the data locally using ML inference, aggregation, and custom logic to generate insights. Configurable transfer jobs easily move aggregated insights and relevant data to Cloud Storage when connectivity and bandwidth are available.
-
Google Distributed Cloud Hosted
Google Distributed Cloud Hosted is a fully disconnected, air-gapped solution consisting of hardware and software. It does not require connectivity to Google Cloud and helps customers meet compliance and regulatory requirements. Google Distributed Cloud Hosted delivers advanced cloud services, including many of our leading data and machine learning technologies.
-
Google Distributed Cloud Virtual
Google Distributed Cloud Virtual (GDCV) extends Google Cloud infrastructure and services into your data center, with Google-provided software running on your own hardware. GDCV for Bare Metal and GDCV for VMware are built on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), with their own GKE on Bare Metal and GKE on VMware packages that extend GKE for use in an on-premises environment. With GKE on Bare Metal or GKE on VMware you can create, manage, and upgrade Kubernetes clusters on your own premises while using Google Cloud features. You can deploy and operate containerized applications on your clusters at scale using Google's infrastructure.
