Deletes the interactive session resource. If the session is not in terminal state, it is terminated, and then deleted.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name	string Required. The name of the session resource to delete. Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name: dataproc.sessions.delete

Query parameters

Parameters
requestId	string Optional. A unique ID used to identify the request. If the service receives two DeleteSessionRequests with the same ID, the second request is ignored. Recommendation: Set this value to a UUID. The value must contain only letters (a-z, A-Z), numbers (0-9), underscores (_), and hyphens (-). The maximum length is 40 characters.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
