Deloitte and Google Cloud expand their alliance to bring the cloud to more industries

From anticipating maintenance needs in manufacturing to more personalized customer experiences in retail, cloud technologies are transforming every industry. As a result, many businesses are looking for partners that can help them take advantage of what the cloud has to offer while still making full use of their existing investments. Today, we’re expanding our partnership with Deloitte to help more businesses do exactly that.

We’re working with Deloitte to bring new, transformative solutions to customers in the healthcare and life sciences, retail and consumer packaged goods, and financial services industries. This collaboration brings together Deloitte’s deep industry expertise with Google Cloud’s best-in-class infrastructure and technologies for AI, data analytics, API management, collaboration, and more, to deliver solutions grounded in security, compliance, interoperability, and business agility.

We’ll be combining our technical solutions with Deloitte’s industry leadership in three key verticals.

• For healthcare and life sciences, we’re supporting organizations with technology and expertise that can help them bring treatments to patients faster, enhance patient care, accelerate biomedical research, and improve operations. We are working with Deloitte to bring our Contact Center AI solution and clinical data warehousing (including our Cloud Healthcare API), and Genomics and Imaging solutions to healthcare organizations and life sciences companies.  
• For financial services, Deloitte industry specialists will take advantage of Google Cloud technology for comprehensive, integrated solutions that support the retail banking and capital markets, insurance, and investment management sectors. This means providing our scalable infrastructure, high performance computing and secure multi-cloud and hybrid solutions to solve industry challenges in financial risk and analytics, and fraud and crime.
• Deloitte's retail and consumer products team is helping retailers infuse agility into their business and accelerate how they deliver compelling experiences to their customers. Specialized retail solutions, including demand forecasting and supply chain optimization built on Google Cloud's flexible, secured technology and advanced data analytics capabilities enable retailers to get ahead of customer expectations.

Bringing Anthos to the enterprise

In addition, we’ll be working with Deloitte to bring the newly-announced Anthos to more enterprises and help them adopt a hybrid and multi-cloud strategy.

Anthos lets businesses run applications both on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and in their data centers with GKE On-Prem, without locking customers into expensive or proprietary infrastructure. In addition, Anthos will let businesses manage all Kubernetes workloads running on third-party clouds, giving them the freedom to deploy, run and manage your applications on the cloud of their choice.
