Every industry — from financial services, to retail, to manufacturing, to the public sector — is in the midst of digital transformation. This week at Google Cloud Next, we’re excited to highlight new integrations, services, and solutions with our partners that play a critical role in helping our customers succeed.

Throughout the last year, we grew our ecosystem exponentially, launching new partnerships with leaders across industries and technology categories, such as Automation Anywhere, C3 AI, Databricks, Ericsson, SAP, and Workday. We also expanded our work with partners like Crowdstrike, MongoDB, T-Systems, VMware, and hundreds more.

Today, we’re excited to announce more than twenty new and expanded partnerships with technology leaders across five strategic focus areas:

1. Delivering unified data, analytics, and AI solutions with our partners

  • Collibra, a data intelligence company, is launching its Data Quality capabilities on Google Cloud, enabling customers to deploy Collibra Data Quality on global, scalable, and secure infrastructure. Organizations will also be able to combine Cloud Dataproc on Google Cloud with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud, enabling high-quality data pipelines and scalable and trusted analytics.

  • This year, Databricks launched a new partnership with Google Cloud to deliver its platform on Google’s infrastructure at global scale. Today, we’re expanding our work with Databricks, adding support for Databricks SQL and Databricks Photon on Google Cloud, as well as bringing support for Databricks online in additional regions, including Frankfurt, Seoul, and Singapore.

  • Fivetran, a leading automated data integration provider, partners closely with Google Cloud to help customers quickly move data reliably, continuously, and securely regardless of source into BigQuery. This week, we’re deepening our partnership with Fivetran, including adding new pipelines from leading apps and databases to BigQuery. We continue to see huge momentum with more than a thousand joint customers using Fivetran and BigQuery together.

  • Informatica is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud to help accelerate customers’ cloud migrations and to expand the availability of its products on Google Cloud. Informatica is launching a new Migration Factory that will help customers accelerate their migrations of data-driven workloads to Google Cloud by as much as 10 times. In addition, more Informatica services will be available on Google Cloud Marketplace, including Informatica’s Data Governance and Master Data Management services, making it very easy for customers to deploy and manage these services on Google Cloud.

  • We are launching new integrations between Tableau and Looker that will allow customers to operationalize analytics and more effectively scale their deployments with trusted, real-time data and less maintenance for developers and administrators. Tableau customers will soon be able to leverage Looker’s semantic model, enabling new levels of data governance while democratizing user access to data. Looker customers will be able to pair their enterprise semantic layer with Tableau’s leading analytics platform. Tableau will also support LookML, providing additional flexibility for customers who are familiar with Tableau’s visual query language, VizQL.

  • Trifacta is deepening its partnership with Google Cloud by enriching its BigQuery ELT capabilities with “full pushdown” for files and sampling, BigQuery SQL endpoints, BigQuery jobs pre- and post-SQL, and BigQuery Upsert showing more than 60 times improvement in design time and pipeline execution speed. Furthermore, customers will be able to use data engineering accelerators from Trifacta in order to generate faster and maximized business outcomes.

2. Extending and supporting open and scalable infrastructure
  • We are expanding our strategic partnership with NetApp in two ways to make it even more easier for customers to migrate and run business critical applications on Google Cloud. First, NetApp will provide storage infrastructure for the newly announced Google Distributed Cloud Hosted, where data resides in customer-owned data centers and colocation facilities. And for customers looking to migrate their VMware workloads to Google Cloud, we are announcing preview access for NetApp Cloud Volumes as the storage destination for Google Cloud VMware Engine. By providing customers with this choice to scale compute and storage independently, we are uniquely helping customers accelerate and streamline their moves to the cloud.

  • Elastic and MongoDB are making their support for Google Private Service Connect generally available, enabling customers to privately, securely, and quickly connect their cloud networks to services like Elastic Cloud and MongoDB Atlas.

3. Empowering distributed teams and supporting the future of hybrid work
  • Atlassian, a provider of team collaboration and productivity software, is integrating Jira’s project tracking capabilities with the Google Workspace platform, bringing new experiences for users of Chat and Spaces. With this integration, users will be able to create new issues quickly, see actionable previews, and monitor issues as they come while at their computer or on their mobile device.

  • Citrix is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud to support organizations’ transitions to hybrid work with new solutions to enable secure and low-latency access to applications and virtual desktops from all types of locations.

4. Enabling best-in-class security with our partners
  • Our  new Work Safer program is launching today with cybersecurity partners CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks. Work Safer is designed to meet the needs of all organizations, including small businesses, enterprises, and public sector institutions, many of which are reliant on legacy technology and may not have the in-house expertise to fully address the rising security challenges associated with hybrid work.

  • Cybereason, which provides enterprise-grade detection and response capabilities in cybersecurity, is expanding its partnership with Google Cloud. Cybereason’s Extended Detection and Response (XDR) service will be powered by Google Cloud’s security analytics platform, Chronicle, to deliver a cloud-native XDR solution that automates prevention for common attacks, guides analysts through security operations and incident response, and enables threat hunting with precision.

5. Bringing sustainability leaders to the industry’s cleanest cloud
  • Today we’re announcing a series of new partnerships with sustainability-focused data and application providers that will help global businesses and governments accelerate data-driven sustainability initiatives. These partners, CARTO, Climate Engine, Geotab, NGIS, and Planet are bringing their core applications and more than 50 petabytes of satellite imagery, demographics, mobility, and telematics data to Google Cloud, so customers can deploy and access them at at global scale on the industry’s cleanest cloud.

  • To help customers account for emissions beyond our cloud and across their organizations, we’re partnering with Salesforce Sustainability Cloud to integrate our new Carbon Footprint product, which tracks Google Cloud emissions data, into their carbon accounting platform.

Finally, our ecosystem of global services partners are also continuing to expand their offerings for Google Cloud across multiple industries, product areas, and markets:

  • HCL Technologies is bringing its popular DRYiCE™ iAutomate platform to Google Cloud. iAutomate is an AI-powered product that helps enterprises automate aspects of their IT operations lifecycle. Through this partnership, HCL is enabling customers to deploy iAutomate easily and quickly from the Google Cloud Marketplace.
