Industry Director Manufacturing and Industrial, Google Cloud

At Google Cloud, our mission is to accelerate manufacturers' digital transformation by bridging data silos, and turning every engineer into a data scientist with easy-to-use AI technologies and an industry data platform. Manufacturers across all domains, from discrete manufacturing to energy and supply chain, are adopting Google products and purpose-built industry solutions because of their ease-of-use and scalability, using analytics and machine learning to remotely monitor and optimize operations and make better-informed business decisions. Our customers and partners have made great progress on their data transformation journey and on May 5th they will share their perspective and insights at the Manufacturer Spotlight.

Join us to hear leading manufacturers and technology partners discuss how they transformed operations and empowered their teams to solve productivity challenges and build competitive and sustainable businesses with Google Cloud. You will hear from thought leaders how a data platform, data analytics and AI models can create a solid foundation for scaling smart factory initiatives and enable unique optimization models. Every factory has unique challenges and optimization needs. However, the data is the backbone of intelligent manufacturing, and high-quality, accurate data empowers AI at scale. Every step of the AI data lifecycle—from gathering and extracting the data to parsing and sorting it, and then analyzing it to gain valuable insights—involves strategic decisions and positioning. This can be particularly challenging in long-standing manufacturing environments. Learn how to navigate these challenges.

Google Cloud technology leaders will share in-depth understanding of the new cloud and data technologies we are announcing and will be joined by customers and partners who’ve gone through the strategic steps needed to transform their operations, and are now revolutionizing their respective industries, including Ford Motor Company, GFT, Phononic, and SoftServe.

Dominik Wee, Managing Director, Global Manufacturing, Industrial and Transportation Google Cloud, will deliver the keynote session on the critical pieces needed to scale smart factory initiatives - factory-floor engineers, data and AI. There will be great real-life stories to follow, and new solution announcements.

Lori Mitchel-Keller, Vice President, Industry Solutions, Google Cloud, will speak with Jason Ryska, Director, Global Manufacturing Technology Development, Ford Motor Company, and Brandon Speweik, Head of Industry Sales & Strategy, GFT, about how manufacturers can use a unified data platform bridging together market-leading data products from Google Cloud, from BigQuery to PubSub, and powerful visualization tools to generate accurate and real-time business insights within one user interface with shared, customizable Looker dashboards.

I will speak with Jason Ruppert, COO, Phononic, about the company’s strategy for intelligent manufacturing, and how SoftServe and Google Cloud are helping to realize their vision. Shaun Greene, Director of IoT, Advanced Technologies Group, SoftServe will share how a scalable data platform is an essential piece for enabling use-case-specific AI optimizations on the factory floor.

Charlie Sheridan, Technology Director, Global Manufacturing, Industrial and Transportation Google Cloud, will do a deep dive on our new industry solutions for factory data analytics and AI. There will be plenty of opportunities to learn how the solutions work, the products enabled and the improvement in data transparency, contextualization and analysis. You will see how products like BigQuery, Data Studio, Looker, Cloud SQL, and Vertex AI can help solve smart factory challenges.

We cannot wait to share our manufacturing updates with you. Save your spot today by registering on the Manufacturer Spotlight page.
