Looker earns 22 top rankings in BARC’s The BI & Analytics Survey 21
Helping customers succeed with data has been central to Looker’s mission and core values since day one. This is why we’re so honored that our customers have spoken to help us once again earn top rankings in four peer groups and a perfect customer recommendation score of 100% in The BI & Analytics Survey 21 from the Business Application Research Center (BARC).
BARC’s The BI & Analytics Survey 21 is the world's largest and most comprehensive survey of business intelligence (BI) software users, with feedback from over 2,500 respondents.
According to the report:
“Looker dominates its peer groups in this year’s BI and Analytics Survey, scoring a total of 22 top ranks. Every user questioned about Looker wholeheartedly recommended the tool, which posits a truly exceptional testament to the platform...the vendor achieved the highest ‘Project success’ rate of all the products featured in the survey.”
A 100% recommendation score and the highest project success rating are the best feedback we could hope to receive, and we know that this wasn’t earned lightly. We’re committed to continuing to meet the high standards our customers have set for us.
Over the last year, we’ve worked tirelessly to find new ways to empower people through the smarter use of data — from product updates and new features to exploring new ways to connect with and support the data community.
Powering digital transformation with data
We’ve continued to improve upon our core analytics offering, helping enterprises with digital transformation (wherever they are in their journey, and on whatever cloud technology stack they have) with modern business intelligence. This means finding new ways to deliver self-service insights, promote collaborative data cultures, and — as always — establish governance and trust around the metrics that matter most to your organization.
Our work to deliver a modern BI solution can be seen in the top rankings our customers gave us in our peer groups in categories of “self-service”, “cloud BI” and “visual design standards”.
Expanding the idea of what’s possible
We’ve also continued to find ways to help organizations push the boundary of what’s possible with data by making it easier to deliver data to employees, customers, and partners — precisely where and how they need it.
From embedding analytics into applications such as Salesforce and Marketo, to infusing insights into your own ecosystem of applications and product offerings, to sending and writing back data with messaging applications such as Slack or Twilio, we continue to build out our suite off-the-shelf integrations with best-of-breed technologies to help you empower your people with data. And if you want to build something that’s never been done before (think along the lines of proactive operational applications to completely automated and AI-powered processes), we’ve invested in our developer tool kits to help you bring your vision to life faster.
Our customers have recognized this by marking us with leading positions in the categories of “flexibility,” “innovation,” and “advanced analytics”.
Continuing to support what customers love most
And finally, while we love building new things, it all has to come together in a great customer experience.
We’re honored that the support and empathy of our Department of Customer Love (DCL) is recognized in our leading position in the “Vendor support” category in all four of our peer groups.
We’re committed to providing our customers with the deployment choice and flexibility that they need to make the right choice for their business, whether that’s on-premises, in the cloud, or via a hybrid or multicloud environment. In the report, this is demonstrated with our high scores for “cloud BI'' and “flexibility”.
