This course introduces the computing and storage services available in Google Cloud. The course also introduces important resource and policy management tools, such as the Resource Manager hierarchy and Cloud Identity and Access Management.

Networking in Google Cloud Platform

How do you manage and scale your organization’s networks in Google Cloud? This course covers Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, subnets, and firewalls; interconnection among networks; load balancing; Cloud DNS; Cloud CDN; and Cloud NAT. The course also covers common network design patterns and automated deployment using Deployment Manager or Terraform.

Security Engineer learning path

Interested in learning about the best practices in cloud security and how the Google Cloud security model can help protect your technology stack? This path gives you an in-depth overview of security on Google Cloud.

It is highly recommended that you explore the courses in the Network Engineer Path before starting on this track to support and complement your learning.

Security in Google Cloud Platform

This course gives participants a broad study of security controls and techniques on Google Cloud Platform. Security use cases covered include mitigation techniques for attacks at many points in a GCP-based infrastructure, including distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, phishing attacks, and threats involving content classification and use.
