Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority
(“SFSA”) (Sw. Finansinspektionen) is
responsible for promoting stability and efficiency in the
Swedish financial system. The SFSA authorises and supervises
all companies operating in the Swedish financial markets.
Regulations and General Guidelines regarding governance, on risk management and control at credit institutions
(“SFSA Guidelines”) addresses the SFSA’s expectations
of how credit institutions manage their outsourcing
arrangements. The SFSA Guidelines provide specific guidance
on: due diligence, monitoring, control and supervision,
termination, reporting, business continuity, audit rights
and confidential information.
Google Cloud’s contracts for financial institutions in
Sweden address the requirements in the SFSA Guidelines. We
have also created mappings to the SFSA Guidelines for both
to assist you with understanding how we can support you with
meeting the requirements and assess us as an outsourced
service provider. Google Cloud is committed to addressing
these requirements regardless of how financial institutions
choose to use our services.
