ETDA (Thailand)

The Information Security Standard for Meeting Control Systems, prescribed by the Thai Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), is a guideline for providers of meeting control systems (like Google Meet) to establish reliability of the meeting systems, in compliance with MDES’ notification Re: Security Standards of Meetings via Electronic Means, B.E. 2563. Certification against B.E. 2563 is awarded by the Electronic Transaction Development Agency (ETDA).

This Standard is prescribed in accordance with:

  1. ISO/IEC 27001:2013, Information technology - Security techniques - Information security management systems - Requirements, 2013.
  2. ISO/IEC 27002:2013, Information technology - Security techniques - Code of practice for information security controls, 2013.
  3. ISO/IEC 27701:2019, Security techniques - Extension to ISO/IEC 27001.
  4. ISO/IEC 27002 for privacy information management - Requirements and guidelines, 2019.
  5. European Union, Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA).
  6. Technical Guidelines for the implementation of minimum security measures for Digital Service Providers, December, 2016.
  7. Guidelines for Digital ID Services in Thailand - Registration and Authentication, No. Khor Mor Tor Or (ขมธอ.) 19-2561.
  8. Guidelines for Digital ID Services in Thailand - Verification, No. Khor Mor Tor Or (ขมธอ.) 20-1561.

Google has received certification against the requirements of B.E. 2563 by ETDA for Google Meet. Our B.E. 2563 certification may be requested by reaching out to sales for more information.
