BNM (Malaysia)

Bank Negara Malaysia (“BNM”) is responsible for developing, enhancing and implementing an effective supervision framework to ensure the safety and soundness of financial institutions and to enforce sound practices.

The Risk Management in Technology guidelines (“RMIT guidelines'') address BNM’s expectations of how financial institutions manage their ongoing operational risks associated with the growing adoption of technology in the financial service industry. In particular, the RMIT guidelines lay out requirements for several domain areas including: cybersecurity, network resilience, risk management, data center security, implementation of internal controls, and internal audit functions.

Google Cloud’s contracts, controls, and processes as described in the mappings for both GCP and Google Workspace address the requirements in the RMIT guidelines.
