Many Google Cloud products and features launch as private Previews, available by invitation to a small set of customers for testing and feedback before becoming more broadly available. With the Early Access Center, invited customers can request access to selected Previews, and check the status of their request from the Cloud Console.
Before you begin
Use of the Early Access Center requires an organization. For more information about acquiring an organization resource, see Creating and managing organizations.
Required permissions
The permissions that you need to use Early Access Center vary depending on what you want to do.
Permissions to view Previews
To view previews you've been invited to, you need a role that includes the following permissions:
earlyaccesscenter.campaigns.get
earlyaccesscenter.campaigns.list
earlyaccesscenter.customerAllowlists.get
earlyaccesscenter.customerAllowlists.list
To gain these permissions while following the principle of least
privilege, ask your administrator to grant you the Early Access Center Viewer role
(roles/earlyaccesscenter.viewer
).
Alternatively, your administrator can grant you a different role with the required permissions, such as a custom role or a more permissive predefined role.
You will also need the resourcemanager.organizations.get
permission to
select the appropriate organization. This can be granted with the
roles/resourcemanager.organizationViewer
role.

privilege, ask your administrator to grant you the Early Access Center Adminstrator role

If a Preview requires project-level enrollment, users will also need
resourcemanager.projects.get

the projects they wish to enroll, which can be granted with the
roles/viewer
role.
Alternately, all required organization and project permissions can be granted
with roles/browser
