AutoML Natural Language enables you to train custom machine learning models that classify content into a custom set of categories, extract entities from text, or perform sentiment analysis. Prices for AutoML Natural Language are computed based on the amount of training required (in hours), how many text records and documents you send for analysis, and how many models you deploy.

  • A text record is plain text of up to 1,000 Unicode characters (including whitespace and any markup such as HTML or XML tags).

If the text provided in a AutoML Natural Language request contains more than 1,000 characters, it counts as one text record for each 1,000 characters. For example, if you send three requests to AutoML Natural Language that contain 800, 1,500, and 600 characters respectively, you would be charged for four text records: one for the first request (800), two for the second request (1,500), and one for the third request (600).

  • A document refers to a content file that includes more than just plain text, such as a PDF file.

AutoML Natural Language charges for processing a document based on the number of pages in the document, with each page having up to 5,000 characters. If a document contains more than 5,000 characters per page, AutoML Natural Language determines the processing cost by dividing the total number of characters in the document by 5,000.

If you pay in a currency other than USD, the prices listed in your currency on Cloud Platform SKUs apply.
