Deleting a Cloud Extension

Deleting a Cloud Extension deletes both edge nodes in addition to the corresponding storage bucket. You can't delete a Cloud Extension if it is hosting any VMs running in Compute Engine.

Using Migrate for Compute Engine Manager

1. Log in to the Migrate for Compute Engine Manager.
2. Click the Target Cloud icon.
3. Select a stopped Cloud Extension.
4. Click Delete.
5. When prompted, click Yes to proceed.

Using vCenter

1. In the vSphere Web Client, select Datacenter > Migrate for Google Compute Engine Operations > Delete Cloud Extension.
2. Select the Cloud Extension.
3. Click Delete.

To view the deletion progress, go to the Migrate for Google Compute Engine Cloud Extension portlet on the Datacenter Summary page, or by monitoring the vSphere task.
