If your setup uses an HTTP proxy to access the internet and/or the Google Cloud API endpoint, you can configure the Velostrata Cloud Extension with the HTTP Proxy information. The optional Velostrata Telemetry and Logs service also uses this configuration.
You may separately configure the Google Cloud Storage API to use the HTTP proxy, however, we strongly recommend against passing migration data through the proxy. See the caveat listed below.
You can configure the types of data that flow through the proxy to include:
- Control plane only
- Control plane and data plane
If you apply URL allowlists, add the following URLs:
- telemetry-eu-1.prod.velostrata.com (Europe only)
- telemetry1.prod.velostrata.com (US only)
- accounts.google.com
- cloudresourcemanager.googleapis.com
- www.googleapis.com
- iam.googleapis.com
- storage.googleapis.com
