Uninstalling Migrate to Containers

Important: The Migrate to Containers UI in the Google Cloud console, migctl, and CRDs that use processing clusters to migrate workloads to Google Cloud are now deprecated. They are supported for existing users until May 2024, after which they will no longer be available. If you're new to Migrate to Containers, then use the Migrate to Containers CLI to perform migrations on your local machine. For more information, see Migrate to Containers CLI architecture.

You can uninstall Migrate to Containers from your processing cluster by running the migctl setup uninstall command.

Before you begin

• Ensure that there are no migrations in progress.

  Run migctl migration list to see the list of migrations.

  If you don't want to wait for migrations to finish, you can run the migctl migration delete command to remove the migration.

  Note: Before you delete a migration, be sure to run migctl migration get-artifacts to get the URLs for the artifacts you can download. You can use the URL to retrieve and manage the artifacts, such as the Dockerfile.

Uninstalling Migrate to Containers

After you have confirmed that there are no running migrations, you can uninstall Migrate to Containers with the following command:

migctl setup uninstall
