Unable to add website due to missing record A

Problem
When trying to add a website, you receive the following error message:
Please make sure to have either an A record pointing to [IP Address] or a CNAME record pointing to [Domain name] for in domain ()
Environment
Solution
You need to add an A record.
- Open Google Domains and sign in with the Google account you used to buy your domain.
- In the left column, select DNS.
- Scroll to Custom records and click Manage records.
- Click Create new record.
- Now attempt to add your website.

Your A record is missing.
