On November 25th, during Black Consciousness Month in Brazil, we got together with developers in Salvador, Bahia for an Innovators Hive event in person. Almost 45% of speakers were women, and 77% were Black - reflecting the 56% of Brazil's population that is Black. Live streamed to the world in Portuguese, the event included Googlers from the region offering the latest training and sharing career advice to our Innovators.
