Événements liés aux modifications locales

Les écritures locales de votre application invoquent immédiatement des écouteurs instantanés. Ceci est dû à une fonctionnalité importante appelée "compensation de la latence". Lorsque vous effectuez une écriture, vos écouteurs reçoivent une notification avec les nouvelles données avant que les données soient envoyées au backend.

Les documents récupérés ont une propriété metadata.hasPendingWrites qui indique si le document contient des modifications locales qui n'ont pas encore été écrites dans le backend. Vous pouvez utiliser cette propriété pour déterminer la source des événements reçus par votre écouteur d'instantanés :

Événements liés aux modifications de métadonnées

En ce qui concerne l'écoute des modifications apportées à un document, une collection ou une requête, vous pouvez transmettre des options pour contrôler la précision des événements que votre écouteur reçoit.

Par défaut, les écouteurs ne sont pas informés des modifications qui ne concernent que les métadonnées. Voici ce qui se passe lorsque votre application écrit un nouveau document :

  1. Un événement de modification est immédiatement déclenché avec les nouvelles données. Le document n'a pas encore été écrit dans le backend, la valeur de l'indicateur "écritures en attente" est donc true.
  2. Le document est écrit dans le backend.
  3. Le backend notifie le client que l'écriture a réussi. Les données du document n'ont pas été modifiées, mais les métadonnées l'ont été, car la valeur de l'indicateur "écritures en attente" est maintenant false.

Si vous souhaitez recevoir des instantanés lorsque les métadonnées du document ou de la requête sont modifiées, transmettez un objet options d'écoute lorsque vous associez votre écouteur.

Configurer les écouteurs pour les modifications locales uniquement

Les écouteurs d'instantanés Firestore prennent un instantané initial à partir du cache local et extraient simultanément les données correspondantes à partir du serveur.

Dans certains cas, vous ne souhaitez pas que des récupérations de suivi soient effectuées depuis le serveur. Les SDK clients vous permettent de configurer les écouteurs pour qu'ils ne se déclenchent qu'en fonction des données présentes dans le cache local. Cela vous permet d'éviter les appels de serveur inutiles et leurs coûts, et d'exploiter le cache côté client, qui reflète les données locales et les mutations.

Ici, les options d'instantané sont définies dans le code client pour n'écouter que les modifications locales.

L'état initial peut provenir directement du serveur ou d'un cache local.
