Regulated Data: Security, Efficiency, and Compliance
Solution Designations
Google Cloud Ready
At Server General, our core mission is data security. Our flagship solution, Transfer General, supports secure, compliant data migration to Google Assured Workloads, addressing critical needs in security, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. We also provide secured MySQL and PostgreSQL instances on the Google Marketplace, ensuring comprehensive data protection. Our solutions help customers meet GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS standards, eliminating risks tied to misconfigurations or unauthorized access.
Transfer General (TG)
Transfer General provides a fully managed service or self-service option for migrating sensitive data with built-in encryption, compliance, and efficiency features. Key components include:
- End-to-End Encryption: Data is encrypted at its origin using AES algorithms and remains encrypted throughout transit, safeguarding it against unauthorized access. Customers retain control over encryption keys, ensuring only authorized decryption at the destination.
- Direct, Private Connections: TG leverages dedicated pathways (on-ramps) to Google Cloud, bypassing public internet transfers. This method accelerates large data migrations while eliminating risks tied to open network exposure.
- Flexibility and Expert Guidance: Organizations can choose between a self-service model with automated tools or an expert-guided approach for complex migrations, ensuring ease of use and minimizing operational disruption.
- Simplified Compliance: TG is designed to meet strict regulatory requirements, featuring role-based access, detailed logging, and customer-controlled key management for smooth audits and regulatory adherence.
MySQL Secured by Server General
The MySQL Secured by Server General instance offers a self-defending virtual MySQL server with transparent encryption and strict access controls, ensuring confidentiality and integrity. Role-based management provides accountability, and logs stored across multiple locations ensure legal admissibility. The minimized “Just Enough Operating System (JeOS)” further reduces the attack surface for maximum security.
PostgreSQL Secured by Server General
The PostgreSQL Secured by Server General virtual instance leverages advanced security measures, including secure boot, vTPM, and transparent encryption. Tamper-resistant logs, extended access controls, and virtualization-layer integrity monitoring protect data against all attack vectors, setting new standards for PostgreSQL security.
