Kin + Carta provided its specializations in customer experience, user research, and application development, developing the user interface and the ability to offer the app even to farmers with no internet connectivity.
Kin + Carta created data pipelines to supply an integrated consumption data store to support GFS's operational and analytical needs. This includes management of pricing and promotions, tracking historical product price changes, and purchase behavior.
In 2018, Kin + Carta helped deliver a pilot of GFS's new system, Gordon Ordering, to its Canadian customers. It had to be operational in six months. To achieve this tight timeline, GFS chose to develop and deploy the application on Google Cloud.
