We will openly discuss the full spectrum of risks—from geopolitical tensions and data access concerns to the ever-present threat of sophisticated cybercrime and simple operational failure. We'll explore how to classify your data and applications, match them to the right environments, and maintain control across your entire digital estate. We'll also tackle a crucial topic often overlooked: how a smart exit strategy is the ultimate guarantee of your freedom and control. 3) Mission Critical: Designing the future of Sovereign Cloud for defence Hosted by Imogen Verret, EMEA Public Sector Lead, Defence at Google Cloud and Eliot Danner, Managing Director, Distributed Cloud at Google Cloud This roundtable discussion will explore the opportunities and challenges of integrating Google technologies into air-gapped defence environments. We will discuss methods for secure deployment, data handling protocols, and the potential benefits for enhanced operational capabilities and efficiency within highly secure systems. For European organizations bound by strict data sovereignty and compliance requirements, the challenge isn't whether to adopt AI, but how to do so securely. This session demonstrates that sovereign AI is not a distant promise, but a viable solution today. Discover how you can deploy powerful AI and Generative AI models within a compliant cloud environment, giving you enhanced control over your data and operations. 2) Establishing a European Cloud Future: A fireside chat on building dedicated cloud services in Europe Hosted by Niall McDonagh, Director Public Sector EMEA, Google Cloud and Cyprien Falque, CEO, S3NS This session will delve into the strategic vision behind creating European cloud infrastructures. We'll discuss how Google's change of strategy is addressing the specific needs of European organizations and contributing to a more sovereign and secure digital future for the continent. Get an inside look at the challenges and opportunities in building a competitive, high-performance cloud ecosystem dedicated for the European market. 3) The Sovereignty Paradox: Why your security strategy is your sovereignty strategy Hosted by Prof. Dr. Igor Podebrad, Director, Office of the CISO, Google Cloud Digital sovereignty is more than just a line on a map; it's the absolute, verifiable control over your data and digital assets. This control is impossible to achieve without a foundation of elite, uncompromising security. The two are not separate initiatives; they are two sides of the same coin. Join a security expert from Google Cloud's Office of the CISO, and a former CISO himself, for a crucial executive briefing. We will dismantle the myth that sovereignty is just about data residency and demonstrate why a world-class security posture is the only true path to achieving digital autonomy. |
