Agents for Impact is an exclusive, one-day sprint for the Bay Area's most ambitious developers. Learn to master Google's latest agentic AI toolsets and capabilities, then use them to build a solution that can change the world.
More Than Code, It's a Cause
What if you could harness the most powerful AI to address one of society’s challenges? Agents for Impact is not just a tech event; it's a mission. We are gathering the Bay Area's most brilliant minds for an intensive, single-day sprint. You will learn how to build the next generation of multi-agent architectures and immediately apply that knowledge to open datasets such as climate, health, and social equity. Beyond the immediate impact, there's a huge opportunity for the winners: the chance to attend and present at Google Cloud Next 2026. This is your chance to innovate with purpose and take your work to a global stage.
Why You Should Attend
The Impact Challenge
Your challenge is straightforward but profound: in one afternoon, build an AI agent prototype that addresses a critical global issue.
We will provide the tools and data. You provide the ingenuity.
You'll get a crash course on Google's full agent lifecycle toolkit—from grounding your agent in BigQuery's massive public datasets to building its core logic with the Agent Development Kit (ADK), and then implementing multi-agent solutions with A2A, MCP, Agent Engine, and Agentspace. You'll then have four hours to build a solution that matters. The most innovative, impactful, and technically impressive projects will be recognized.
Agenda at a Glance
Our day is split into two parts: Learn, then Build. The morning is a hands-on masterclass dedicated to getting you proficient with Google's agent-building tools. The afternoon is an all-out Impact Sprint, where you'll team up and apply your new skills to build a world-changing prototype, culminating in a project showcase and awards ceremony.
Meet Your Mentors
Throughout the sprint, you'll have direct access to Google Cloud's Staff Engineers and Developer Advocates. These are the world-class experts behind the AI tools you'll be using, and they're dedicated to helping you bring your most ambitious ideas to life.
