Android Client Code Sample

Cloud Endpoints Frameworks v1 has been deprecated and will be shut down on August 2, 2018. We recommend that you use the latest version of this feature, which is renamed to Cloud Endpoints Frameworks for App Engine. This new version supports App Engine standard environment, provides lower latency, and has better integration with App Engine. For more details, see Migrating to 2.0.

Google Cloud Endpoints is a feature enabling developers to easily develop and host APIs on App Engine with OAuth 2.0 support. From this single API source, Endpoints also lets developers generate strongly-typed client libraries for Java (Android) and Objective-C (iOS), along with dynamically-typed libraries for JavaScript.

This code sample shows how to write an Android client for the API backend sample. The sample backend API must be running in order for the client to successfully make requests against it.

You can find the complete code sample and a detailed README at the GitHub repository android-docs-samples.
