Enabling Change

Solutions: Migration

A Software as a Service (SaaS) company, Kolide achieved fast time to value by joining the Google Cloud for Startups program and embracing a modern, container-based software strategy using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to automatically deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters. The company leverages Google Cloud managed services such as Cloud SQL and Cloud Pub/Sub for databases and message queueing, writing code against Google Cloud APIs. To manage access and keep intellectual property more secure, Kolide uses Cloud Identity & Access Management and Cloud Key Management Service. Kolide also provides auto device association between Kolide Cloud and Google Workspace, automatically assigning devices to its Google Workspace users in minutes.

"Using Google Kubernetes Engine from day one potentially saved us years of engineering time and effort. When it comes to managing Kubernetes clusters, Google is always going to do it better and more cost effectively than we can. It's easy to connect everything together on Google Cloud."
