Method: providers.notes.setIamPolicy

Sets the access control policy on the specified Note or Occurrence. Requires containeranalysis.notes.setIamPolicy or containeranalysis.occurrences.setIamPolicy permission if the resource is a Note or an Occurrence, respectively. Attempting to call this method without these permissions will result in a PERMISSION_DENIEDerror. Attempting to call this method on a non-existent resource will result in a NOT_FOUNDerror if the user hascontaineranalysis.notes.listpermission on aNoteorcontaineranalysis.occurrences.liston anOccurrence, or aPERMISSION_DENIEDerror otherwise. The resource takes the following formats:projects/{projectid}/occurrences/{occurrenceid}` for occurrences and projects/{projectid}/notes/{noteid} for notes

REQUIRED: The resource for which the policy is being specified. See the operation documentation for the appropriate value for this field.

The request body contains data with the following structure:

object (Policy)

REQUIRED: The complete policy to be applied to the resource. The size of the policy is limited to a few 10s of KB. An empty policy is a valid policy but certain Cloud Platform services (such as Projects) might reject them.


string (FieldMask format)

OPTIONAL: A FieldMask specifying which fields of the policy to modify. Only the fields in the mask will be modified. If no mask is provided, the following default mask is used: paths: "bindings, etag" This field is only used by Cloud IAM.

A comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Policy.
