Method: projects.operations.patch

Updates an existing operation returns an error if operation does not exist. The only valid operations are to update mark the done bit change the result.

HTTP request


The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters



The name of the Operation. Should be of the form "projects/{providerId}/operations/{operationId}".

Authorization requires the following Google IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • containeranalysis.operations.update

Request body

The request body contains data with the following structure:

The operation to create.


string (FieldMask format)

The fields to update.

A comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
