As more and more enterprises start planning large-scale migrations to the cloud, they’re looking for the right partners to guide them on their journeys.

Today, we are excited to announce an expansion of our partnership with HCL Technologies to help enterprises adopt Google Cloud solutions at scale. With support from Google Cloud, HCL will launch the new Google Cloud Business Unit, a dedicated group within HCL that will focus entirely on helping enterprise customers plan and execute large-scale migrations of workloads and applications to Google Cloud. This will help more customers take advantage of Google Cloud, and expand Google Cloud’s enterprise presence within large accounts.

Fast facts:

  • Google Cloud and HCL announce HCL’s Google Cloud Business Unit to accelerate enterprise cloud adoption.

  • HCL’s new Business Unit will be comprised of 5,000+ trained experts on Google Cloud.

Many leading enterprise customers look to HCL for help architecting and executing IT strategies that yield business results, drive digital transformation, and manage complex IT environments. As demand for Google Cloud has grown among this important set of customers, HCL is committing to resource more than 5,000 professionals, specifically trained on Google Cloud, as part of this Business Unit.

Together, we’ll focus on accelerating enterprise adoption of Google Cloud products and solutions including:

  • SAP workload and application migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Adoption of leading Google Cloud data, AI, and ML solutions in areas like e-commerce, supply chain, and marketing
