Companies are reimagining how work happens by using cloud technology to collaborate and stay productive. This is why businesses have relied on G Suite, our set of intelligent and collaborative tools including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and Hangouts, for more than a decade.

Since the launch of G Suite, we have introduced more than a dozen new apps and services, unveiled intelligent features, made leaps with phishing and spam controls, and more. Now more than 5 million paying businesses are using G Suite to work faster, smarter, and more collaboratively everyday— from small businesses doing big things to big companies like Verizon, Colgate-Palmolive, and Keller Williams. In the past year alone, 1 million new customers have signed up for G Suite.

Rethinking work across industries

Leading companies from financial services, healthcare, retail and more are tapping G Suite to work better and faster across functions and locations. Here are some examples.

ATB Financial, one of the largest regional financial institutions in Canada, is using G Suite to reimagine the way they work. Since implementing G Suite, ATB employees do strategic planning and reporting twice as fast because they can co-author and update documents in real-time (while eliminating issues with version control). And with Hangouts Meet and Hangouts Meet Hardware, employees can join meetings anytime, anywhere. Watch this video to learn more.

Hurley Medical Center transitioned to G Suite organization-wide and quickly digitized manual processes. Employees replaced paper surveys with Google Forms and schedule therapists using Google Sheets now.

Schnucks Markets, a family-run supermarket chain with 13,000 employees and more than 100 stores in the midwest, reduced time for operational processes, such as collecting complex procurement data,  from weeks to less than 24 hours when they made the switch to G Suite.

Scaling global collaboration securely

With true real-time collaboration that’s built for cloud, teams can work in parallel to move faster than ever before. With G Suite, people adopt new ways of working together, resulting in united teams, time saved and better business results. Here are some examples.

Custom Ink, an online retailer of custom apparel known for its work culture is scaling always-connected, collaboration with the help of G Suite. The company has sold tens of millions of custom t-shirts and other apparel and opened nearly two dozen brick-and-mortar stores across the country and eight corporate offices from Los Angeles to Prague. G Suite makes it easier for Custom Ink’s global teams to communicate and stay productive amid expansion.

York, a leading risk solutions provider with 85 international offices, moved its entire company to G Suite for a unified collaboration platform that easily scales as it prepares for future growth. G Suite allows the company to work smarter and refocus efforts on improving the quality of its risk management solutions.

For Global Payments, a payment technology and software solutions provider with 11,000 employees spread across 32 countries globally, the integrated security of G Suite apps is especially important. The phishing and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) features of Gmail, coupled with simple management controls, help make it easy for users and admins to protect company data cost effectively. And data residency, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other regulations can also be handled more easily in the cloud.
