GDCV Ready platform partners

GDCV Ready platform qualification

GDCV Ready platform validation ensures that our partners' hardware platforms support the latest version and provide the foundation for GKE on VMware and GKE on Bare Metal, components of Google Distributed Cloud Virtual (GDC Virtual). This validation includes testing the following:

  • The functions most reliant on the underlying hardware platform such as the ability to deploy and scale a cluster
  • The successful interaction of GDC Virtual with the platform partner's compute, network, and storage solution
  • The ability to deploy on-premises and expose a workload through a supported load balancer option on GDC Virtual clusters on the partner platform

GDCV Ready platform partners have also demonstrated a strong understanding of GDCV architectures, its features, and how customers benefit from all components of GDCV. Google commits to working with GDCV Ready platform partners to ensure that they have the most up-to-date validation regarding GDC Virtual and its roadmap, and their hardware works with the latest version of GDC Virtual. Google Cloud and the partner will jointly look at ways to improve the customer experience.

You can find out more about the program in GDCV Ready partners.
