Open the Portals page.\n\n ### Cloud Console UI\n\n In the Apigee in Cloud console, go to the **Distribution \\\u003e Portals** page. \n\n\n [Go to Portals](https://console.cloud.google.com/apigee/portals)\n\n ### Classic UI\n\n Select **Publish \\\u003e Portals** in the side navigation bar to display the list of portals.\n2. Click the row of the portal that you want to configure.\n\n3. Click **Accounts**.\n\n4. Click the **Authentication** tab.\n\nThe Authentication details page displays. The Account creation \\& sign in section lets you:\n\n- [Manage company information](#company-info) that appears on the registration and sign-in pages, including the company logo, name, and copyright information\n- [Add custom registration fields](#custom-registration-fields) to the account creation page for user credential authentication\n- [Configure notifications for new user account registration](#notifications) and identify a portal administrator\n- [Configure manual activation of user accounts](#manual-approval)\n\nManaging company information\n----------------------------\n\nManage the company logo, name, and copyright information that appear on the portal registration and Sign In pages.\n\nTo manage company information:\n\n1. Navigate to the new logo, and then click **Open**.\n\n ### Classic UI\n\n Modify the company logo by positioning the cursor over the existing logo and clicking **Change** , navigating to the new logo, and clicking **Open**.\n4. Edit the **Company name** and **Copyright** fields, as required.\n\n5. Click **Save**.\n\nAdd custom registration fields to the account creation page\n-----------------------------------------------------------\n\n| **Note:** This section applies to the [built-in identity provider](/apigee/docs/api-platform/publish/portal/portal-identity-provider#built-in).\n\nBy default, when registering with your portal, a portal user is prompted for their first and last name, an email, and a password. You can add up to three additional custom registration fields to the Create Account form to capture additional details. For example, you might want to capture the company name.\n\nWhen a portal user provides data for a custom registration field, the content is displayed in the Users details.\nIf you disable or remove a custom registration field, the custom information moves to the Legacy Data column in the Users list. Click **Save**.\n\nConfiguring manual activation of user accounts\n----------------------------------------------\n\n| **Note:** This section applies to the [built-in identity provider](/apigee/docs/api-platform/publish/portal/portal-identity-provider#built-in).\n\nBy default, when portal users register on the integrated portal, their user accounts are activated automatically.\n\nAlternatively, you can configure your portal to require manual activation by an administrator for each new user account, as described in [Activating user accounts](/apigee/docs/api-platform/publish/portal/api-portal-users#activating_user_accounts). In this case, the status for the user account is listed as **Inactive** in the [user accounts list](/apigee/docs/api-platform/publish/portal/api-portal-users#explore-ui) and the portal user cannot sign in.\n\nTo configure manual activation of user accounts:\n\n1.
